ADDING A FIELD
- Choose your site from the home page (‘Grid’).
- If not automatically, there, press ‘Fields’.
- Press ‘+’ to open the form to add a new field.
- Complete all relevant information.
- Remember, data fields with * next to them are mandatory.
- When complete, press ‘Save’ and then ‘Close’.
- Your new field will be listed in the Fields screen.
EDITING A FIELD
- Select the relevant field from the site’s Fields page.
- Amend the field details, as required.
- When complete, tap ‘Save’.
VIEWING A FIELD’S HISTORY
- Opening a field will automatically open it on ‘Detail’.
- Press ‘History’ to see the crops that have previously been grown in your field and any other field work.
REMOVING A FIELD
- From the site’s Fields page, choose the field you want to remove.
- Tap the actions icon to reveal the options available.
- Press ‘Remove Field’.
- A pop-up box will appear asking you to confirm your action; press ‘Remove’.
MAPPING A FIELD
- Select your field by pressing on its thumbnail.
- By default, you will see the ‘Detail’ page; you need to press ‘Map’.
- Tap ‘Edit’ to draw your new boundary or make changes to an existing one.
- The mapping tool uses standard navigational methods. Pan by dragging your finger across the map and zoom by pinching two fingers together.
- New boundary – press your finger on the map to create points; repeat until satisfied it represents an accurate reflection of your field.
- Existing boundary exists – Either drag the existing points to redraw your boundary OR press clear to remove the boundary and start again.
- Tools – To make the task easier, you can delete points, clear the boundary, undo and redo an action.
- Press ‘Save’ when you are happy with the field’s boundary.
